Murrieta and Temecula's Premier Ballet Training Center

As a not-for-profit dance organization, Academy of Ballet Arts and the ABA Jr. Company rely on donations, ticket sales and volunteering  to support its biannual productions as well as all other Jr. Company and ABA activities.

Donations allow us to:

  1. Bring in guest artists/choreographers: Your contribution will help us to bring in accomplished guest choreographers, which is always a rewarding experience for our dancers and a treat for the audience. Furthermore, by featuring guest work on our stage, we enhance ABA’s standing in the dance community.
  2. Cover production costs: Donor contributions help pay for new costumes, set props, lighting, and access to performance spaces like the Old Town Temecula Community Theater.
  3. Scholarship fund: In addition to our performing Jr. Company, we offer daily studio classes for students of all ages and abilities. As the economy forces families to tighten their budgets, we are faced with an increasing number of requests for tuition assistance. Donations that do not go directly to performance costs are deposited into our scholarship account.  You can also support an individual dancer (100% of your donation to a specific dancer will go toward their tuition).  Your donations will help support deserving young, aspiring artists which may not have the financial ability to afford training, performance fees, master classes/teachers, or pointe shoes.  It is our mission to be able to provide dance classes and performances to all talented, dedicated, deserving dancers regardless of the ability to pay.
  4. Performing Company:  Your contribution will assist in the cost of rehearsals, performances, costuming and dance supplies for our Jr. Company dancers.  Your donation will help cover the costs of travel expenses, YAGP (Youth American Grand Prix) expenses, pointe shoes, costumes, and any other needs for our Jr. Company dancers.  Monies collected will be evenly distributed to the dancers, unless a donation is made for a specific member of the Jr. Company.

As a patron of the ballet, please consider making a tax-deductible donation to these four programs. Your generous donation will help young performing artists receive financial assistance for their hours of dedication and sharing of their talents and through our scholarship fund, you will also be assisting aspiring dance students.

Academy of Ballet Arts is a registered 501 (c)3 non-profit organization as the Community Arts Advisory Council-Academy of Ballet Arts.  CAAC  was originally founded in 1986 by area artists interested in bringing a greater quality and quantity of arts to San Diego and it’s East County communities. An emphasis was placed on arts education and affordability for all residents. Since it’s inception, hundreds of students have participated in classes of dance, music, drama, and the visual arts. Residents have enjoyed numerous stage productions. Many of our students have moved on to professional careers in the arts with many more developing a lifelong appreciation of how the arts enrich their lives. We are proud to announce that the CAAC is now permanently housed at the Academy of Ballet Arts studios in Murrieta, CA. We offer classes in dance, our Jr. Company, an annual “Nutcracker” performance, our Summer Ballet Intensives,  our annual Summer Performances, and other performances throughout the Inland Valley area.   For information on our programs, please contact us at: Academy of Ballet Arts, 26305 Jefferson Ave. #M, Murrieta, CA 92562.
