Junior Company/Petit Junior Company

Our auditions have happened, but please contact our office for a make-up audition time.

Junior Company is a select group, by audition only, for dancers who are fully committed to their art form and are aiming for a career in professional dance.

Dancers in this program will be expected to keep up a full-time class schedule for their level as well as weekly rehearsals for solo and/or ensemble pieces that will be performed at competitions such as YAGP, California Dance Classics, ADC | IBC, and more!

They will also participate in our two ballet productions each year, The Nutcracker and a spring show which varies from season to season. Our repertoire includes Snow White, Alice in Wonderland, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and more.

Our young dancers, ages 9-11, are invited to join our Petite Jr. Company and older dancers, ages 12-18 are invited to join our Junior Company.

Each group has a special class each week for Petite Jr. Company/Junior Company members only where they will get to work closely with the directors to refine their technique and get them closer to their biggest goals and dreams.

Aspire

Our auditions have happened, but please contact our office for a make-up audition time.

We would like to introduce our newest program, Aspire!

This program is open to dancers aged 8-18.

For years we have had dancers and their families coming to us wanting to have the Junior Company experience, but time and busy schedules made that commitment more difficult. That is where the Aspire program comes in!

Aspire is comparable to Junior Company, but allows dancers and their families to have a bit more flexibility with their busy schedules. This program is perfect for dancers who just love ballet and want to explore the possibilities.

The weekly class requirements and rehearsals for this program are less demanding for those with busy schedules, but dancers will still have an opportunity to receive coaching and mentorship from ABA teachers and directors.

They will have an opportunity to perform solo and/or ensemble pieces at competitions such as Youth Ballet Masters. Dancers will perform in at least one competition during the season, but may add more as approved by ABA directors.

Excellent, high quality ballet instruction in a safe environment for all ages. From the front desk, to the teachers, to other parents and the kids, everyone is wonderful there because they share a love of dance. We look forward to classes each week and are so happy we switched from our other studio. Our daughter has grown tremendously and only wants to dance more!

Incredible teachers, passion and instruction. Worth every penny and all the countless hours of dedication behind the student and of the student. Devoted teachers and instructors who's main priority are ALL of their students and their families as well. No dance school drama... the dramas you see and witness are the intended ones with the talented students on stage during the spectacular productions done throughout the season. The parents are truly devoted to helping one another and the kids support each other as well. Discipline is expected inside and outside of the ballet studio and the students all rise to meet that because they want to out of care for their school, their teachers and one another. Charter school, and military friendly...
